Message Royal Purple lasted about 6mins on the engine dyno showing power gains with friction reduction....after that...lost power. Royal Purple is and should be at the bottom of many ppls list for oil to purchase. I would never suggest it to anyone.

Motul
Amsoil
Neo
Swepco
Veruspeed (made by Motul)

All are the only ester based oils on the market and have no crude base elements in them. They are far superior than Mobil 1, Royal Purple and Redline oils etc etc.

FWIW...Motul has the highest ZDDP content out of any oil on the market. Their break in oil is the best I've ever come across in using for new engines for break in times. I keep cases on the shelf and use it exclusively in all my built engines.
